The Foreign Student path is a dedicated admission route for international students applying to Unisba.

Overview

International Admissions 2026 at Universitas Islam Bandung (UNISBA) is now open for international students who wish to pursue higher education in Indonesia within an academic environment that integrates Islamic values and modern knowledge.

As one of the leading private universities in Indonesia, UNISBA offers high-quality education supported by professional faculty members and a conducive, inclusive, and religious academic atmosphere.

Note: All academic programs are conducted in Bahasa Indonesia, as UNISBA currently does not yet provide international classes.

UNISBA implements one admission intake per academic year.

General Requirements

Foreign student admission document requirements:

  1. Scan of colored passport (valid for at least 6–12 months before expiration). Diplomatic and work passports are not accepted.
  2. 3×4 passport photo meeting passport requirements
  3. Scan of diploma and academic transcript
  4. Curriculum Vitae
  5. Medical Certificate (issued within the last three months) covering:
    • Physical examination
    • Infectious disease screening: Tuberculosis (TB), Syphilis, HIV/AIDS, Ebola, Mpox
    • Mental health examination
    • Drug screening (negative results): Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Morphine, Benzodiazepine
  6. TOEFL ITP 450 / TOEFL iBT 39 / IELTS 4.0 certificate
  7. Motivation letter
  8. Recommendation letter
  9. Certificate of Achievement (Academic/Non-Academic)
  10. Integrity Pact (format can be downloaded from here)
  11. Certificate of Not Being Involved in Prohibited Organizations from the Embassy of the country of origin

All documents must be submitted in English or Bahasa Indonesia. Documents in other languages must be officially translated into English or Bahasa Indonesia.

Self-Funded Components

Tuition and Additional Costs

International students enrolled in the regular program are subject to the same tuition fee structure as regular domestic students at UNISBA.

However, prospective international students are required to independently cover additional administrative and personal expanses related to their stay and study in Indonesia, including :

  2. Visa Administration (fees vary by country — contact us for details)
  3. Study Permit Administration
  4. Insurance (estimated IDR 8,000,000)
  5. BIPA Class (free of charge, subject to slot availability)
  6. Dormitory Accommodation
