The Regular USM for Doctoral degrees opens 3 doctoral programs at Unisba. Selection emphasizes the quality of the dissertation proposal and academic readiness.

General Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • Master's transcript with the minimum GPA required by the program (typically ≥ 3.25)
  • Dissertation proposal (draft) aligned with the chosen field
  • Recommendation letters from 2 academic supervisors
  • TOEFL/IELTS certificate
  • Published academic work counts as a plus

Selection Format

  • Dissertation proposal review — judged by the program academic panel
  • In-depth interview — proposal discussion, research plan, study readiness
  • Subject-matter aptitude test

Note

Doctoral admissions at Unisba are largely case-by-case — candidates whose proposals pass the first stage are invited directly to interview with potential promoters.
